Financial Review Fast List 2023

The Australian Financial Review’s FastStarters - No. 46

For close to 40 years, The Australian Financial Review has compiled authoritative rankings that list Australia’s richest and most influential people and our most successful companies. The Financial Review recognises the achievements of our best and brightest across the economy and the community through several awards initiatives.

In November 2023, Midnyte City came in at number 46 on The AFR’s prestigious FastStarters list. This achievement is only possible in partnership with our incredible clients. Organisations like MYOB, Pepperstone Financial Services, Middy's Electrical, Chargefox, Optima, Detector Inspector and PaperCut Software. And of course the wonderful team of passionate, dedicated, high EQ and technically remarkable Midnyte Citizens.

The work Midnyte City does is challenging. Tech outcomes are one part. Helping clients to “repair the plane while it is flying” by upskilling people, evolving processes and making change safe creates a dynamic and complex working environment. We help clients to deliver faster and more effectively, build cultures that become destination employers, uplift internal technical capability, improve ways of working, do more with less, scale efficiently and improve quality across products and platforms.

We call our approach human centric ethical consulting. We are extremely proud to be building a business that can make the world a better place, while being recognised by an institution like the AFR’s FastStarters.

CRN Fast50 2023 Midnyte City

Computer Reseller News Fast50 - No. 43

Now in its 15th year, the CRN Fast50 recognises the fastest-growing companies in the Australian IT channel, based on year-on-year revenue growth. Adhering to a strictly numbers-based formula, the CRN Fast50 continues to earn respect and recognition as the only awards program in the Australian technology industry that truly recognises the best businesses based on hard numbers.

In November 2023 Midnyte City placed 43 on the CRN Fast50. Appearing on the list multiple times previously, our Managing Director, Hannah Browne was invited to be part of a panel discussion on business growth. She outlined why Midnyte City pursues values aligned work and clients, prioritises quality over quantity and how there’s not enough money in the world for Midnyte to work with climate wrecking shitbag organisations like Woodside Energy.

This year, an overwhelming response of over 4,500 quality entries were received from small businesses across Australia. We look forward to rubbing shoulders with the other finalists at the ceremony on the night.
While we didn't get a gong this year, we did have a wonderful evening, hear some incredible stories from the Australian Small Business Community and learned a lot about what it takes to come out on top!
